GATE OF MORIA Pint Glass
The Gate of Moria's inscription is written in both Elvish (Sindarin) and Dwarvish (Khuzdul), symbolizing the ancient friendship between Elves and Dwarves. The gates are made of mithril and ithildin, a substance visible only by moonlight or starlight. The inscription famously reads: "Ennyn Durin Aran Moria: Pedo mellon a minno." This translates to: "The Doors of Durin, Lord of Moria: Speak, friend, and enter." The solution to opening the gate was simply speaking the Elvish word for "friend"—mellon—revealing the doors' deceptively simple design.
