BRONTOSAURUS SKELETON Wine Glass
The first Brontosaurus skeleton ever mounted and displayed to the public was actually a mix of different dinosaur species. When paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh first discovered and named Brontosaurus in the late 19th century, he used incomplete fossils and incorrectly matched some bones with those of other dinosaurs. Later research revealed the mistake, and the name "Brontosaurus" fell out of use for many years before being reinstated when scientists determined that there were enough differences to distinguish it from Apatosaurus.
